Finding critical spare parts and knowledgeable technicians for repairs to maintain semiconductor handling service equipment is a challenge given the current global climate of post-COVID material shortages, reduced or limited labor forces, and increased transportation and energy costs. Zinter is positioned as a supplier for individual parts, whole assemblies, and skilled labor to perform the repairs. If not directly available from Zinter, our close relationship with manufacturers and suppliers both locally and abroad enable your best lead time and cost for repairs.
Recent Supplies and Repairs Include:
- Zinter was able to supply an intelligent motorized trolley to replace an older unit. The unit was shipped in a matter of days after the receipt of the purchase order, giving the semiconductor customer the ability to increase from limited production to full production.
- Upgrading EUV handling equipment to include world-class automated features. Zinter will assist with future planned upgrades as well.
- Replacing internal components on a semiconductor cleanroom crane on the West Coast. Once the repair was done, a load test and an operational check were performed to ensure the highest level of operation and quality of service.
- Hand-held crane remote repair was coordinated with the manufacturer for detailed diagnostic instructions. The successful repair was done by sharing a series of trouble areas to look for after a remote was dropped. The problem area was locally repairable, and as a result, the customer experienced no downtime waiting for costly repairs.
